We are looking forward to spending time with family and friends at Pops' Memorial Service this weekend. It will be a special time of reflection and sharing our memories of my dad, Pops.

One Week
Well, it's been a week since we lost Pops. It has been one of the most difficult weeks for all of us. We spent a lot of time just talking about Pops and our favorite memories of him. We laughed and cried. Of course, Zach and Mia provided a wonderful and necessary distraction. What we found most comforting of all was the love and support from family and friends. The cards, letters, emails and flowers meant so much. Thank you.

Hi Pargie, Rich, Tina, Andres, Zach and Mia,
Well, here we are in Iowa City on our way down to be with you on Thursday through next Tuesday. Jerry & I have spent the last few days reflecting on some wonderful memories we have of Gene, Pargie, and Rich and Tina! I am not sure it will "hit us" that Gene is actually not with you until we come to your house on Thursday ~ mid-afternoon. Please let us know what we can bring to the house. If we don't hear from you, it will be meat/cheese, fruit. veg't, and breads and crackers. You will be able to pull it out at any time for anyone who is hungry. Jer and I really look forward to playing with Zach and Mia!!! Well, also visiting with you, too! We love all of you so very much! Jerry and Kathy Stigman
